Marcus Luttrell is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL and the author of Lone Survivor. His personal experience with ibogaine therapy has made him one of the most prominent advocates for ibogaine research in America. Together with his wife Melanie, the Luttrells bring both personal testimony and national visibility to the mission of expanding access to ibogaine therapy for veterans and all Americans struggling with addiction and trauma.

Dr. Sherri Reuland serves on the board of Americans for Ibogaine, helping guide the organization’s efforts to advance responsible ibogaine research and expand conversations around emerging treatment options for veterans and others in need.

She is also deeply involved in charitable work supporting the military community, including her involvement with the Boot Campaign, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and assistance to veterans and their families. Through her service and advocacy, Dr. Reuland brings a strong commitment to improving the well-being of those who have served.

W. Bryan Hubbard serves as Chief Executive Officer of Americans for Ibogaine, where he leads the organization’s mission to advance science-based education, clinical research, and responsible medical access to ibogaine therapy. Under his leadership, AFI has emerged as a leading voice in the national conversation around ibogaine research, building coalitions across the medical, policy, and veteran communities.

A policy leader with a background in law, public service, and systems reform, Hubbard has spent much of his career working to improve complex government programs addressing disability, substance dependency, generational poverty, healthcare, child support, and mental health treatment. His work has focused on strengthening public institutions and expanding opportunities for individuals and families facing structural challenges.

Hubbard was raised in the coalfields of Virginia and is the proud grandson of two grade school–educated United Mine Workers of America coal miners, whose perseverance and values continue to shape his commitment to public service.

Braden is a policy professional with nearly a decade of experience at the highest levels of Texas state government, including the offices of the Texas Governor and the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives.

He leverages his deep knowledge of the legislative process and relationships across the political landscape to advance policy reform. By working directly with policymakers and allied organizations, Braden has a proven record of building the coalitions necessary to drive meaningful change.

Wes leads efforts to build and manage relationships across advocacy, policy, and research communities. He works with policymakers, stakeholders, donors, and aligned organizations to expand awareness and support for safe, medical access to ibogaine treatment.

With a background in strategic intelligence and executive advisory services, Wes brings a focused, solutions-oriented approach to coalition building and stakeholder engagement. He plays a key role in strengthening AFI’s network and advancing partnerships that support the organization’s mission.

Victoria has over 15 years of administrative support experience. She excels at managing executive schedules, coordinating meetings, and streamlining operations to ensure maximum efficiency.

Victoria is known for her exceptional communication and organizational skills, fostering positive relationships both internally and externally. Her proactive approach and attention to detail contribute significantly to our success, allowing our executives to focus on strategic initiatives.
